Its been quite a while that I interacted with you all. Was busy with my MBA and SSB prep.
So, today while scanning through the discussion threads of pagalguy (an MBA preparatory resources website), I came across several GD topics that appeared in GD/PI rounds of several premier MBA colleges.
I am listing out those GD topics, as a food for thought for the future aspirants.
In my view, tackling any GD, demands originality of thinking and a clear understanding of the "problems priorities and solutions" for the concerned GD topic.
So here we go:-
1) 2012India is better than 1947 India
2) Women Reservations.
3) Young Politicians are a myth.
4) Will privatization stop electricity theft.
5) Should Salman Rushdie be aloud in JLF (Jaipur Literary Festival) ?
6) Globalization is good for developing nations.
7) Corruption in India- who is responsible.
8) Is MBA overrated in India?
9) Legitimacy of the actions of Wikileaks.
10) If you cut all the ends, you'll end up in a circle
11) If there was no army.
12) Dependency On Computers.
13) India or West - "Which is the land of Opportunities ? "

I found the list of questions that one is supposed to answer before entering for the PI (common to most major institutes)..

2.Date of Birth
3.Graduation Stream
4.PG stream
5.Education qualification: marks
6.Work Experience
7.Family Background
8.Acedemic Awards
9.Extra-Curricular Activities
10.Strengths and Weaknesses
11.Motivation for Post Graduation/Why MBA?
12. Hobbies
13.Major decision you have taken in last six months?
14. Where do u see yourself 5 yrs from now?
15. Biggest Failure?
16. Whom you will save in family if there is fire in ur house.
Please prepare well for subjective questions.. they are almost the same every year..
Another favorite question is:
What progress has been seen by India in the last 5-10 years.. or something on these lines...
