Special Case of 'People'

Hello Friends,

Today, I learnt a new usage of the word 'people'.

People: Generally means a group of persons.

Hence in that case, it's used only in the plural form----

Eg:-

Who are these people ?

But, 'people' also means 'nation'.

Hence when used in this sense, it can be appended with a 's' to form the plural of nation.

Eg:-

There are many different peoples in Europe.
